This
slide shows the quality of the Filtakleen unit... and how it works. The oil
enters the base of the Filtakleen unit, goes up through the center of the cartridge,
and then slowly percolates down through the 41/2" of filter bed, where
both the ultra fine particles and water content are removed. The refined oil
is then returned to the pan, or in the case of hydraulic circuits, the tank.
