How many times in a pickups life do you change the oil?
Based on 3,000 mile, factory recommended, oil changes and a 150,000 mile life span, that would be 50 times. With our 1 micron Filtration and 100% water removal you can

go 100,000 miles on the same oil. An oil change just consists of changing out the cartridge.
Your light truck's engine encounters stress levels greater than an ordinary passenger car. Towing your boat, RV, work trailer, horses, etc. or hauling loads, places both your engine and transmission at risk with higher operating temperatures and greater internal pressures.
Actually, did you know that oil never wears out?
Oil simply gets contaminated by dirt, and water until eventually, the detergent pack of the oil can no longer do its job of protecting your oil. Most O.E.M. (original equipment manufacture) filters remove particles to about 30 microns, which is quite small, and O.E.M. filter does a great job of keeping the engine clean from contaminates larger than 30 microns, but what if you could filter the oil down to "1 micron?" What about water? Can an O.E.M. filter take the water out to protect the oil against acidity? The answer is NO! The Filtakleen filter however will absorb 100 percent of the water, allowing the Total Base Number of your oil to remain at high levels, and the base oil in top shape!
Would the oil last longer?
Well yes, the oil could do its job (up to eight times) longer, letting your oil change intervals be extended up to 24,000 miles, and as far as 100,000 miles. Let us define a Micron: A unit of length. One micron = 39 millionth of an inch (.000039"). Contaminant size is usually described in microns. Relatively speaking, a grain of salt is about 60 microns and the eye can see particles to about 40 microns. The damage that can be done internally to an engine starts to occur at about 10 microns.
Dirt and particles start to work on the engines: bearings, pistons, piston rings, and valves. This internal wear can break down the oils detergent pack and that is what makes it time to change oil. With the Filtakleen system, the oil stays cleaner longer letting the oil do its job longer.
We can explain the Filtakleen filtering system like a small garbage dump for oil.
The oil's detergent pack picks up the dirt and particles then sends it through the FILTAKLEEN filter dropping off the particles down to "ONE MICRON" letting the clean oil be sent back out to the engine to pick up more dirt and particles. As 10% of the oil passes through the filter, this usually takes about eight hours to clean the whole system.
Why take a chance on anything else when you can start to filter your oil from 30 microns down to 1 micron and see your engine life double, from one simple and easy install.
